hi all,at last i think im getting somewhere in the searching of my family tree,thanks mainly to maureen lawes,who took on the challenge for me.it seems that my family originated from condover in shropshire.so im here appealing for anyone who is a davies and hails from shropshire area to get in touch and see if we are related .as would love to expand on my family.here is some info that this kind lady found for me.john davies 1827 my gg grandfather,was in keeper and maltster married ann richards in 1854in montogmery.children;thomas j 1857,john in 1859,henry in1855 in shrewsbury.ran fox inn,strettonroad shrewsburyin 1881johnmarried adeline bromleyat ludlow,herefordshire,in1884 had 10 children;charlotte ,harry ,mary adeline,john,ann,frank,richard,sarah,thomas,william edward.henry 1855,was apparently my gg grandfather married alice poole1857,in 1886and had my great grand father james in 1884,johnh in1885,annie1886,william1888,george1891and thomas in1897,all born in condover.dont know anymore except that my great grandfather is burried in llanfoist cemetry in south wales along with his wife alice lowe.so if any one is related or knows more please get in touch would love to hear from you.you might getb lucky like i did take care all and good luck in your searching.chris
