As house-moves go, ours went pretty smoothly, although the removers didn’t finish unloading the vans until 7pm. BT were good to their word and connected us last Wednesday but the pc decided to play up. I couldn’t get it to boot up properly so I fiddled with the ‘on’ switch and it fell off. Oops. Took pc to the Poorly Puter Shop and they fixed the switch but it was very poorly inside, so we had to get a new one. I now have fully working PC and Tinternet, but the pc is set up on a coffee table, not very comfy to have to kneel down. Hopefully hubby will have it all sorted out by the weekend so that I can spend more time on the pc;) Mandy in Somerset (who is now in Wiltshire) |
