The Freedom of Information Act is a widely misunderstood act. It applies to information about EVENTS,and public figures, not individual, private citizens. The Statistics gleaned from the 1911 census would come under this law,(FOI) but they were released years ago anyway. The Freedom of Information Act is also voided where there are already firm plans and a date to release information, as there are for the individual's information on the 1911 census.(Release date 1st January, 2012 - if all goes to plan).
