Mine have, there are a few things that have changed, for the better I think. people have changed my opinions, listening to others views and their reasons for them, reading about things,I think In general just educating myself about subjects that I thought I knew about but didnt,I surpose you would call it growing as a person. There are however a few things that I know I will never change my opinions about. What about you?

Yes!! As a teenager everything was cut and dried, black and white. Now having seen, experienced and read more, I just see many different shades of gray, and for each 'rule'/generalisation there are many valid exceptions. jay

Yes I have changed Roxanne, I am much more accepting and look for reasons behind things rather than taking them at face value, I also appreciate good things so much more, Caz xxx

Yes ive changed. Having been very ill in my time, i appreciate life far more and i now try and see all points of view in people and im far more forgiving of people, even in this last year, as i feel life is to short. My beliefs in politics and religion have changed as well, but i wont go there eh!

Yes. Everything used to be black and white for me too, but now it's shades of grey. Several times I have read posts on here which have changed my opinions about things, large and small. I try not to pass judgement on anyone, or at least try to see things from all sides. Sometimes this can be very difficult of course, and I am afraid that I am making no headway as far as paedophiles are concerned. OC

Oh yes, couldn't agree more with the other posts. When I was young, all of life was black and white; now having experienced so much throughout my llife I accept most things in all shades of grey, try and find the reasons of why people and the world in general behave the way they do. We all have our quirks at the end of the day... lol

Not only throughout my life Roxanne......even in the year since I have found this board..... I had heard of chat-rooms, but the computer was a mystery to me, until my OH showed me how to press the buttons to get onto the internet.....and we go from there..... My views and opinions are not set in stone, and I enjoy reading about any view that is different from mine, and I can see the mindset of other people, and perhaps adapt my own thoughts by the wisdom of theirs.... It is really interesting to see how others cope with pain, problems, illness, and give support to those who need it......

I'm more tolerant, less judgemental and I value life more. I work with people with cancer and it teaches you not to 'sweat the small stuff'. Life has taught me so many things and changed my beliefs and opinions. Even Dad's passing has taught me so much. I believe every experience is a lesson and I hope to never stop learning. Susan

Nah... I'm still right, everyone else is wrong. What I am right about changes a bit though... Rob
