Hi, Since joining in January 2006, I have tried to contact the 'Support Team' on several occasions, with no luck. Does anybody know whether on the lapse of a membership, the details are removed from the system? I have tried contacting many members with no success, despite there being a definate link to my tree. On the flip side, I have also had some very good responses and thank those members who have the good manners to respond, even if there proves to be no link. Keith

I believe that once a tree is added it then becomes the property of genes so when membership runs out it is always left on there to make the site look busier than ever!!!! Correct me if I am wrong

Thanks for your views. Does make sense not to remove them, but it would be handy if there was a message that came up, like, 'Unable to contact member - No longer a member'. Ah well, will just have to caryy on contacting ghosts!
