Well, its been five minutes and its the same for all my shared trees. Just boxes! Have I well and truly buggered it up? Sod this for a game of soldiers I'm off to bed. Kathy |

Thanks for the help. Its that Flash Viewer thing. I held my breathe and tried it. Started to let it do its business but it was taking so long that i cancelled it. Went to anothe shared tree and it had worked albeit not quite as it had a load of boxex and the various vertical and horizotal lines but no text in the boxes! Perhaps by the time I've finished this message it may have corrected itself. If not, I shall be back screaming for assistance. Kathy |

Sounds like you're wondering about Macromedia Flash Player Kath? It's OK to download a Flash player. As Bob says you need a cetain few pieces of software for things to run OK. XXX Sioux |

Not sure which Flashing thingy you are asking about, but many animations will NOT run unless you have JAVA or Active X installed Bob |

Whats with this Flashing load stuff? Looked inviting I thought. At last I'd be able to see my Shared trees in Full instead of being driven mad by scrolling everywhichway. However, Have this new all singing and dancing laptop which I'm still a bit scared of and am not sure if I can download the said Flash thingy without having another of these Alert blocks coming up warning me of impending doom. I tend to play safe you see- what a whimp eh? There have been so many changes to this system I don't know where I am. Any non-technophobe out there pls? Kathy |
