Yeah i guess i am, no one can still take in i managed it alone (i get lost in the UK lol), think im more proud of the people i dealt with Baz, amazing people. A trip i will never forget. |

hope he has lovely time and stays safe, i work with a girl of 15 shes part time in our place and her mum works with us too, shes going to kenya next year she hopes doing work with orphanage, i will be worrying about her as shes a lovely girl and so young, but its a challenge they cant turn down |

Baz, that trip wasnt so nice eh, im still in touch with one of the families and they are doing so much better. Funny, i got my diary of that trip out the other day, forgot how much stress was involved. |

Both of my daughters have been backpacking. Middle one went to New zealand, all alone. Oldest one went to Oz but was with a group, although she is disabled & has to work with a stick. Both were fine, really enjoyed themselves. I encouraged them to do it. If they don't do it while they are young with no commitments then they probably never will. The biggest plus now is that they can buy a phone card or find an internet cafe so they can contact home. Mine had an agreement that they would contact me every 4-5 days & I was only to be concerned if that didn't happen. If I was 18 again I would be on the plane like a shot. Ang x |

Caz Long as he isnt reckless, he will be very safe, the thai people are lovely and so helpful. Obviously if he goes into red light areas (which are great to see i have to say, a real eye opener lol), he has to be aware. Let me know if i can help in any way as i know some of the Islands and Bangkok pretty well. |

My 22 year old nephew is going back packing to Thailand and am worried sick, I feel really protective of him as I helped my parents bring him up when his Mum was severely schizophrenic and couldnt look after him, Anyone else knowsomeone whose done it? caz xxx |
