He should have asked the kids to do it, they would have sorted it out in a couple of minutes ! |

Hiya Loopy, Just a thought,,,,,if you want to buy a new VCR, and your TV is a little old,,,,,,,how about buying a TV-VCR combination, you'll be surprised at how low the prices are now. |

I think the reason he got stressed because normally he IS good at the technical stuff. lol Has come back with No video. They got it to tune in on a new t.v. but when they tried it on an older one they couldn't get it to work. The sales woman said 'I can't give you your money back as you've opened the box'!!!!! OH said 'You're having a laugh' Suffice to say the manager was called and a refund was eventually given. Trouble is we'll probably have to go all through this again tomorrow. Help I've got a headache coming on already Linda Linda |

Oh gets very stressed when installing a new 'plaything' but cant say i blame him cos instructions usually read OK but dont match with what the dammed machine is doing!! I dread the upgrade when he does away with the video recorder &&& the dvd player & opts for a recordable DVD Shirley |

Our old video broke so he went to get another one as we've got lots of the kids stuff on tapes.....He's spent all afternoon trying to tune it in but although it said it's 'automatic' it isn't doing it.......He's just packed it all back in the box and gone stropping of to the shop......Very out a character for him...Pity the shop keeper lol....Linda |
