We're off to Whitbread Hop Farm on saturday for a firework's display.

They got all the kiddies fun there with funfair and kiddie firework display at 5pm and an adults firwork display at 8pm......and there doing a spanish menu evening at there restuarant there so that will be nice......Can't wait and looking really forward to it....better wrap up my little munchkin though and get her some earmuff's incase the noise is too loud for her (she's 10 mths old).

LOL........ Joy......cheeky mare...nice and warm...will be thinking of ya....:-) Caz no your not a cheapskate, we usually go to a place called 'Holly Hill' its a massive field on a huge hill and we sit at the top and you can see for miles around and as far as the Canary Warf......You can see all the family's fireworks from community hall fireworks to the bigun's ........but this year we thought we'd go whitbread hop farm as we are a little family now, and wanted something special for our daughter.

Hi Tara, We are spoiled really here in Surrey. Got the annual firework display in the park behind the house so watch it from the garden with friends and family, tuck into hot food and drink and the loo is at hand if you get too chilly in the nether regions. They will all be fighting for a place on the garden shed as per and the grandkids will be standing on the compost bin (has it's other uses)! Grandchildren don't like the loud booms but we cover their ears or they can watch it from one of the upstairs windows if they get a bit agitated. Sounds daft and is always an excellent display but how great it is depends on the music accompanying it. Had a lot of Queen one year and everyone was singing at the top of their voices. Great. Hi again, Just been for a stroll down the road and the pallets are everywhere for the bonfire. Lots of activity and lots of people buying tickets from the local shop to watch it. One year they played the music from the Dambusters. Everyone had arms outstretched pretending to be planes and singing la la la la la la la la. Hysterical and very patriotic. One of daughters on top of back shed got carried away and launched herself over the fence into the park just as the music changed and we got War of the Worlds. Don't know who was more surprised her, or the policeman who was walking by and caught her. Is she an Alien, no I said my name is Aileen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gave him and colleagues hot home made soup to keep them warm. Bless. Aileen xxx (or was that Alien)!
