On the Jap bikes Mrs Presley, if you want a fast one, go for the R1. I tried one last year, and it was the most frightening thing I had ever got my legs over LOL

Hiya Bob, The 500 Speed Twin was initially a BSA,although I do believe Triumph introduced a Speed Twin after a lot of hagglin'

Yes that is the one a Norton. We had an accident it had been in for a repair and something hadn't been done right so when he went to change gear it didn't, it accelerated instead and we ended up going up the tram lines. When he rebuilt it is looked absolutley lovely but I had gone off them then. He did borrow his brothers Bonniville but I had lost my nerve. Never went on the back of another. Germaine x

Hiya Germaine, the Dunstall Dominator was a Norton, if my memory serves me right. The Triumph 650 engine was often put into the Norton Featherbed frame, you ended up with the Triton, what a bike that was

Could be a Trophy Donna, but I'm looking back to the middle 60's where the largest bikes where about the 650 mark

My first bike Donna, was a Tiger, a Tiger Cub. Triumph used the name Tiger in most of their bikes. My Bonny was a Tiger T120,
