today should be my dads 60th birthday,he died when i was 9 going to have a drink later to toast his birthday

I know how you feel Janine my dad died when I was 10 his birthday is coming up soon too. I always celebrate my parents birthdays even though they are now both gone. I will raise a glass tonight for your dad. Jackie

thanks, he would deffinatley be having a drink tonight! i always think of him on his birthday and xmas,he died 5 days before xmas,despite this i love xmas and my dad did too,and he wouldnt want me to be sad.he was always so happy and im proud that he was my dadxx

Hi Janine, Today would have been my mum's 78th birthday, she died almost 10 years ago. Seems like yesterday. (((hugs)))) Dee x

i know how you feel jannine i lost my dad when i was 14 found him dying on the living room floor ,i was daddys little girl being only child,but i never forgot him and that was 52yrs ago joycexx
