I just had a phone call on my mobile, and when the name came up, i almost poo'd myself. The picture and name of the person, came up, but they died over a year ago! I answered the phone '.........hello?' But, it was their wife, didnt realise she had the phone now. Feel slightly silly now!

An Olde Crone

An Olde Crone Report 1 Nov 2006 13:01

Not the same thing at all, but it had the same effect on me! Shortly after my father died in 2000, my brother sent me an email with an attachment, the message said merely 'found on the net - open this'. My old computer took ages to download anything, and a photo started to appear on the screen, top to bottom, line by line. My father slowly appeared before my eyes and I almost passed out. It was not my father, but a photo of a man bearing the same surname, born 70 years before my dad. We have been on a mission to find out how this man connects to our family - not found it so far, must be the wrong side of the blanket. OC

That must have been spooky O.C. and that call must have put the wind up you Paul. I nearly said hello to a chap yesterday, stopped myself just in time, but he was a shorter version of a friend who died a while ago! Liz
