I haven't had anyone either and have left my kitchen light on mind you not seen anyone pass either usually see them on the way to their parties very quiet round here. Think I will turn it off now too late for them to come knocking now. Oh forgot did have Harry Potter early on he was worried as he didn't have sweeties to give his grandma mummy said no grandma gives them to you, anyway his friend is going round later so he can give him some sweeties . He is a sweetheart . Germaine x |

We usually have quite a few before now, but so far, not one.....I bet they will wait till Emmerdale is on...... I have bought crisps and chocolate biscuits instead of sweets this year, so I won't be tempted to eat anything...... |

I had 3 teenagers at a quarter to 6, shining a torch through my letterbox, as all the lights at the front of the house were out. I am now a grumpy old woman and am NOT going to the door for anyone! Jay |

It's been really quite this year only two have knocked, opened the door to the second lot and their were four of them. Usually it drives me up the wall with all the callers, perhaps they know to steer clear of me lol. I'm not complaining though more sweeties for me. Sue |

Yes, I was right, had two and right in middle of Emmerdale......but they were really lovely lads, with those scream masks on, and we had a chat......if they are all like that it won't be too bad.... |

I haven't stopped answering my door all evening, though the kids did put their pumpkins outside so they would know to knock. I have just had the teenagers turn up as I was bringing the pumpkins back in and they weren't best impressed with the chocolate but that's tough. LOL. Now the pumpkins are in and the outside light is off that's my lot. Time to settle down. All but one lot were lovely and really polite and I must have had at least 12 groups. xx |

I am feeling very left out. sweets all in basket by door and apples if they want them. Had two young girl teenagers early, very polite and dressed up nicely. Since then nothing, usually we get loads round, very quiet and very stange. wont get any little ones now. Ann Glos |

Around here, they don't tend to knock unless you put a 'sign' out, like a pumpkin or some other sort of halloween paraphernalia. I never put anything out and haven't had callers for 3 years or so. This year,as she's staying with me, daughter put a pumpkin outside. We had 20 callers - all young, dressed up and with their parents - mainly while daughter was eating her dinner lol. maggie |
