Bloomin fares have jsut gone up again! From £3.80 to £4 for a day ticket, and there are no return tickets issued at all! The council have got to cap it before too long, there is no way they can justify another increase. Our buses have had a lot of bad publicity lately, with crashes and breakdowns, poor service and increased complaints, so now we pay more? Beggars belief! Rant over lol |

Teresa, today I used a bus for the first time in ages, but I had read about the price increase etc so was prepared, £2 from Anglia Square to here, Old Catton, I think it is about 2 or 3 miles! I was loaded with shopping tho, and credit due to the driver, when I asked him he stopped on the corner of the close rather than carry on to the bus stop, so I didn't have quite so far to walk. So glad I don't have to use buses all the time, or at rush hour, the traffic was almost at a standstill. Liz |
