It's the first time I have posted on this topic but I have been keeping up with developments. I started getting spam on 22 October - I made the mistake of opening the first e-mail because I thought I recognised the name of the sender. It turned out to be a V**GRA one. Since then I have been inundated with spam always with a different sender name. This morning my e-mail provider (plus net) advised me of 3 e-mails quarantined because they contained a virus. I'm still not clear about whether I can actually do anything to stop all this happening. I would welcome any suggestions. Jill |

its best to change your e-mail address if it becomes a nuisance. I changed mine recently as I was geting loads of spam. Dont think it had anything to do with genes though but I am spam free for now |

some email providers have the bounce option, if I get spam I just hit bounce and send it back, the sender then thinks the address is invalid and it gets dropped from the automatic sender. With my other provider (on my work computer) I copy the senders address then send emails back to them telling them it is a business address and if they continue I will report them. When I have done this after a few days the spams stop. |
