Same as Heather. Cremated and then ashes scattered where Mum and Dad are. Strangely it's a comforting thought. Linda |

We have a lovely woodland burial site just outside Norwich, where your ashes from the crematorium are buried in a wooden casket, some are like an acorn, and then a tree planted there, it has just won an award for best burial ground or something. I would like to be cremated and my ashes buried out of the casket in my daughter's grave, where I have the burial rights for another 42 years. Unfortunately there is a lot of rigmarole to do that so not sure if it will happen. I am sure if my son just popped along there and dug a little hole, poured me in, and then planted another rose bush on there, no one would know! |

Paul, that sounds delightfull-I have the next best thing, I have made a memorial garden for my Mum, Dad, Mam in law and Son. I have filled it with things that either come from them or remind me of them. |

I think I would prefer burial-because I know how important it is to me to be able to visit the graves of those I have lost, place flowers and tokens with loving care-glad I have the chance to still do something for them. |

Would you ever consider being frozen and brought back, say in a thousand years, when there was a cure for all illness known to mankind????????? |

Gosh Rose If I was stuffed I would be even more scary than I am now!! I like those peaceful graveyards on hillsides overlooking the sea, but then being scattered would be freedom to fly a bit wouldn't it. I don't know.... Abigail |
