I spend more time with the computer than the hoover that's for sure. As for the tele...........I do enjoy it but where once I sat goggle eyed and watched anything and everything now I'm a bit more selective. 9pm becomes tele and sofa time........oh and to let hubby know I still live here.................lol |

What's a T.V. Never seen one for ages, her indoors has commandeered it since I took up searching. If you don't believe me read on - The Armchair Chef. My wife loves watching telly, She sits glued to the box Watching all those TV chefs Cooking meals in pans and woks, She won't miss Jamie's Kitchen Or that Ready, Steady, Cook She even been to W.H.Smiths And bought their cookery book; She watches Gary Rhodes as well, Him with the spiky hair, She loves to watch him cook his meals As he flits round everywhere, She never misses Keith Floyd Or Clarissa Dixon Wright, She'll sit and watch the pair of them Whether they're on day or night, She always watches Ken Holm As he cooks things in his wok, She sits and watches Rick Stein Buying fresh fish from the dock; There are many kitchen gadgets And she's been and bought a few, Then she had the kitchen fitted, That cost me a bob or two; I was hoping that the cash I spent Would get her in the mood And give her some encouragement To cook some lovely food; For when a man's been working He's ready for some meat, And when he sits at the table He wants nice things to eat; One night when I got home from work With rumbling in my 'guts', She asked, 'What would you like for tea Before the chippy shuts'? Well it seems I hadn't much option But I didn't want chips and fish, I was hoping that she might have learned How to cook a savoury dish; Some exotic spices, herbs and veg With succulent steak or roast, But my hopes were dashed when she brought our meal, All we had was beans on toast, Then when we'd cleared both our plates She just put them in the sink Then said, 'Will you do the washing-up While I watch The Weakest Link'. Guess you know who the weakest link is in our house. Lol Jeff |

I know I am going to get some flak here, but I can't stand the use of the silly words 'Pooter' and 'Puter' I see only two sensible people used the term PC and Computer, and they were Jane Loughborough and Mary Brooke. You show all the others up ! |
