In certain areas of the country from Wednesday night the tempratures could go down as low as -4. Have a look at Teletext page 406 for 5 day forecast. SueXXX

Ang, unbelieveable! Was it actually spreading grit now? O.h. is on lates, comes home about 10.15 he will not be a happy bunny if it is frosty, he didn't get the greenhouse bubble wrap completely done today, and wanted to get my special plants in safely before we go away next weekend. It can be frosty while I am in Heacham, have booked a cosy cottage and I like crunching on the beach when it is frosty, have just been sorting out some warm clothes to take! Liz I remember that winter when the snow came, and everything ground to a halt, took me hours to drive 5 miles across the city too!

It probably means they are using all the grit now so when the real snow comes they will have none left! Fond memories of 2004/5 when Norwich ground to a halt with less than an inch of snow!! Took me three hours to do 2 miles. So glad my council tax is used correctly.

Can start Christmas eve when everyone has finnished their travels and stop when they have to travel again. That is the way I like it. Don't like to think of people having to drive in it. Germaine x
