Bumble proper broke yesterday, power steering went and smoke out the back of the car, with warning lights and everything!! I had to get the wonderful RAC man to tow me 60 miles home, I would have been proper stuffed without them. My fab friend P fixed her, so she is all better now, without hurting my wallet too much too!! So this is just a thanks to all the fab patrol people out there keeping us all safe and out of danger!! |

Thats good, it can be a bit scary if you have a long wait in a strange place, wondering when they are going to turn up. Sue |

I have Mr AA, but I have always found him helpful too. When you need em, aren't you glad you've paid up? Nearly always on my own, in the car, so I regard breakdown cover as a 'must have' Jay |

we are with Greenflag and have never had a problem, day after we got hubbys car it wouldn't start, came out and started it and I asked if he would check the tyres and he found one with a bald spot and even checked the spare. When we went on holiday one year the camper broke down and needed a new fuel pipe so they towed us back to the caravan site and came back the next day after they had one made and fitted it for us. |

Its the 3rd time in 2 years I have had to use them!! First 2 times were tyre related but this time I was nervous because of the black smoke that appeared but apparently that's just the rubber of the belt that snapped burning!! And yes I am glad I paid my premium!! xx |

My breakdown people are wonderful too. They always ask if you are on your own,in a vulnerable or isolated spot and aim to get to you fast if you are. Just Brilliant. It can be scary ,when you are alone, fortunately I was in a busy BQ car park, when I had to call them out!!! !Sunny r |

When our last car broke down in Hampshire the AA had us in one recovery vehicle and a second vehicle with our caravan towed right back to Essex. |

I can't praise them highly enough either. The last time I broke down was at night - I rang them and as a 'woman alone' was advised to stay in the car and a lovely man was with me within 20 minutes. He fixed the problem and also followed me home just in case the problem recurred - worth every penny of the subscription. |
