Bought one for my Sahara training last year so I could see how well I was doing. Cost about £20 from Millets I think and seemed pretty accurate. Pink of course! It's sitting in a drawer now having a well earned rest! Daisy

This one seems to be very good, Ive tried it on several settings and have now found the right one for my steps. I did have a cheaper one a while back that was useless. I decided to buy a more expensive one and I think its good, worth the extra money:-))

we had some of them free ones from walkers crisps. Well I was doing the same walk with the dog everyday but the amount of paces marked on it changed by huge amounts that I knew not to trust it.

Hi Roxanne We've used them on country rambles - but I think they need to be adjusted just right. We've measured a walk on the car mileometer & it didn't come out the same!! Angela

I had one last year Roxanne, I became totally obsessed with trying to complete the 10,000. I even clocked up 42,800 after a Christmas Shopping trip to Blue Water. I eventually came to the conclusion that over the year, on average, I did far more than 10,000 (Summer Months...loads more than Winter.) But...it cost me a small fortune in pedometers that I kept losing or the batteries ran out. Good luck with yours and enjoy. Tina x
