I've finally found 49 Maltby Street in district 24. The occupants are:- William Pinney, 36 - occupation Tinsmith Alice Pinney, 46 - wife Elizabeth Pinney, 9 - daughter Thomas Pinney, 8 - son Caroline Pinney, 74, widow - mother. Source Citation: Class: RG13; Piece: 391; Folio: 9; Page: 10 UPDATE - silly me!!!! just realised that any name would have done for you, just to find the street. Remember when you are searching that Maltby Street isn't enumerated all in one go. Kath. x |

Parts of Maltby Street are in district 20 and 22, but unfortunately number 49 isn't there. I have checked the first 22 districts. Kath. x |

There are 60 districts in Bermondsey so it's a bit difficult to check them all without a name. Kath. x |

Could someone please give me a name of a person living in Maltby Street Bermondsey on the 1901 census. I have a letter from someone dated 1907 living at 49 Maltby Street but I can't find him anywhere on the census. If I could find the street then I could search house by house. Many thanks Brian |
