I have been given permission to look at someones tree. Not getting any reply from Genes, how do you look at a tree without going through 33 pages of contacts. Sue There must be a quicker way

Hi Sue As far as I can tell it is alphabetical, look to see what your contact name is then move to the page where you think it will be. I just went thru pages of contacts and deleted all the ones that I did not have a shared tree with. I did this over a period of days and finally got it down to two pages. Cheers Pauline

you go to messages then your contacts then click on date and you will get a list of contacts with permission to view

Sue, I know it's tedious but I would go through your contacts list and delete anyone who isn't relevant to your research, do this periodically and it will keep the list down, also if you have been given permission to view someones tree there will be a little tree next to their name with 'yes, view tree' next to it. hope this helps Tricia

have you tried opening your own tree? at the top right hand corner is a drop down list of all trees you can view, and is in first name order so easier for women who have different surnames , lol. think you can still only do this on old style tree, so switch the option to old tree first. Jane x
