This is a serious question. A friend of mine has sent me several e-mails containing photos but I cannot find them. Now I have heard another friend has sent me an e-mail containing a recipe and here again I cannot find it. There must be some way of unblocking what is blocking it. Not being very technical I am asking all you out there to please help me. Sylvia xxx

It is not so simple as that as there is no paper clip and no e-mail at all. It has been suggested that it contains a virus but these are e-mails from two different people.

Sometimes when I receive an email with an attachment there's no paperclip but there's a reference at the bottom underlined which you have to go into (this is at work though) and on my home email it won't always let me open them due to possible virus even though I received loads of mail from the same person. Hi Sylvia, Have you tried going (whilst in OE) to Tools/Options/Security and unchecking the box that says 'Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus' This will leave it up to you as to whether or not to open an attachment. Dee x
