I spend alot of time in my loft.- I'm there now. There's all manner of boxes, books, Christmas paper ......and the PC. My haven of peace and quiet. Gwyn

We've decided to get rid of the castle (aren't I posh) we live in within the next five years and downsize now the sprogs have flown the coup . It will take me that time to get up that damn ladder. I dread it. We have so much garbage in my garden sheds I dread going up in the loft. I've got 20 yrs of junk up there, I don't think there is any cash in the attic! You never know though.... wishful thinking. Aileen xxx

Catherine Don't make me jealous!!! I sooooooo want to go up in our loft, but the opening is so small (or is it that my bum is so big, never can be sure) that all I can do is stick my head up. I do that, and and point to things that look as though they might be interesting, and my husband goes 'oh, thats nothing, you don't want to look in that box or this box', but the point is, I DO!! It might just be the impetus I need to go on a diet!! The thing is, I know and he knows, that some of the kids old baby clothes are up there, in particular my 21 year old sons babygros etc. He knows that if I find them, I will spend a week going ooh and aaah!! Thats why he won't let me up there!! Now I think about it, I might just squeeze my big bum up there and then, if I can't get out - I'll lose weight, problem solved!! Best wishes Carol

i found boxes and boxes of pictures from years ago! even found an album of when all of my grandchildren were like a few mins old

Just spent 20 min up there. pulling boxes and everything out, to look for a pair of shoes that I know I have, can I find them NO. But I did find a fisher price pirate ship, that laddo is over the moon wth.(it was his big sisters) Glad I kept it they are about £25 in the shops. Amazing what C**p you keep. catherine xx Sneezing like mad now.
