I saw an item on tv the other day where a new theatre has installed larger seats than before because people's bums are larger bigger these days. Apparently the usual size is 43 cm wide and now seats are being installed that are 45 cm, I think it said one of the airlines had used the bigger ones too. About time too, it is no fun sitting in a teensy seat and having a big fat-bottomed person overspilling their seat into yours - hate sitting cheek to cheek with someone I don't know well !!
