Hasn't stopped raining yet and car got very wet inside. Keep putting towels round the door. Police haven't turned up and won't now its dark, lets hope they do tomorrow and it doesn't rain much more. As soon as they have come we can get the car down the garage for repair. |

What a day, daughter in Australia on holiday and just noticed someone has tried to steel her car parked outside, could have happened anytime over the last week. Passenger door all prized out of shape at the top [point of entry] and they tried to hotwire the car, the box under the steering wheel where the ignition is has been prized off and completely broken. Expect we'll have to foot the bill, she's only third party. It's started raining now so water will get in but can't do anything about getting it repaired till police turn up for finger prints, they say hopefully withiin 24 hours. Don't think we'll tell our daughter till she arrives home in 2 weeks. |
