We are moving about 10-12 miles away and have a 3-bed house. Admittedly, there's also a loft full of boxes (which hubby has now transferred down to the garage) as well as a library-worth of books! Oh, and a piano. The three quotes we got ranged from £400 - £850. Due to completion happening at fairly short notice, guess which one of them is the only one who can move us? Yep, the blooming £850 one :( Mandy x

Well, if contracts get exchanged tomorrow, or even Tuesday morning, then we will complete & move on Friday. If not, then we have to pay Mr-£850 a cancellation fee! Mandy x

Where did you get in the end Puss? Last time I was on you were waiting to hear from the council about their mistakes. Wish we were closer - we'd pack it all in your caravan and offski!
