I have met a young lady today who Is an angel. She rescues animals that have been left to die at the airport In malaga. Yes it happens often and by British so called animal lovers:-(( I read about her In the paper here so decided to go and see her,she has given up her job to do this,she gets no help only her Spanish social security,which isent much. all her money goes to feed the animals and food for herself,nothing left over for luxuries like clothes,i have to say I felt humbled.

Bless her, she is a gem. Do you mean English people returning home after living in Spain just leave their pets to fend for themselves, after taking them with them to the airport? If she was in England and did that, she would get no money from DSS for giving up her job, or if she did, some rotten b. would shop her and her money would be stopped. Tell her well done from me - can't say it in Spanish I am afraid. Liz

Hi All, Im trying to get her some much needed help here, She is such a lovely young woman,there are also other problems at the moment,they are expanding the Airport in Malaga,so she could loose her place. shes desperate to get these Animals rehomed,its just escalated she started off saving one dog that had been left near the airport,it was starving and weak, she now has dogs and cats that she has found. Some have gone to Germany to be rehomed, she spends her whole day trying to find homes for them. This lady Is one of many that are doing their best , its a sad fact that its a daily happening, I could scream sometimes at the cruelty of people,how can they do it! Thanks for asking if you can help, If only there was some way you could,its really much more than financial help at the moment. Bless you. Roxanne xx

Shirley Ann,Bless you. Hubby has written to several papers here today,also to the B.B.C about the problems with Animals being left here when their owners go back, I will keep you informed of any progress. Roxanne x
