I have someone shown as being born in Clytha and in Raglan, Monmouthshire. I can see a Clytha Hill near Raglan but was there a village/hamlet called Clytha in the 1860s? Thanks Gerry :-)) |

I have just had a look at maps of Wales. There as a Clytha Park near Newport. The map I looked at was in 1886. Raglan is about 20-30 miles away. Jackie |

Thank you Judith and Jackie. I found the one near Raglan so I am sure thats the one. I think its close enough to Raglan that a person who wanted to make life just a bit difficult in years to come could justify saying they were born in both Raglan and Cytha on the census. Gerry :-)) |
