Sorry, been searching CWGC for my G Uncle. Found him too, found his wife, and a daughter! Finding him there made me cry. He never made it home and is buried in Germany. |

I had 1 from ww1 thought great aunt was a biggmist but her first husband died in action , think it was granny annie that gave me the site and there he was age 19 turned my tum god bless.. |

It's odd the effect it has on you. Until tonight, he was just a name that I had heard from time to time, but knew nothing about. Now I've found out he died in WW2 and he had a life. He's become a real person now. |
