My 13½ year old grandaughter Becca is doing the 2nd part of her karate brown belt tomorrow evening. She is the only girl doing it at her club and she did her carters (sp?) last week and tomorrow she has to fight. She is so nervous. She has been working towards this for 7 years now and her instructor knows she can do it. I really hope her nerves don't get the better of her. Oh I do wish her so much luck. I remember doing my, I was so nervous. Having to do all the Kata's and stuff. In front of peeps too. It's worth it in the end though. It took me about 10 yrs to get to black but I got there in the end. let us know how she gets on Sue. catherine xx |

good luck must be a brave girl to get that far. My lad went but gave up on it as he started getting hurt. His instructor was off sick and another one took over for a few weeks but dont think he had much control over the class |
