I love the idea that this will be kept indefinitely. One of our future relations will be able to search against our name/area and we can leave them a message, directly or indirectly. Fascinating.

I think it's a great idea, am going to 'blog' later about my day. At the moment I have a few little mysteries surrounding my Dad's childhood and would love to be able to solve them! A tool like this will hopefully provide an insight into our everday lives for future generations - just those little things that go to make up a picture of a person in a particular time.

http://www.historymatters.org.uk/output/page96.asp. I have used this to ask questions about my family history that I can't solve, for example was there a USA or Canadian serviceman born in 1919 or thereabouts called Arthur Revers. I have done the blog on my day also but hope that future relatives can continue what I have started in hundreds of years. Hopefully also give them a flavour of me and my family too! Will it be a future useful tool do you think? What do you think about the project?
