Remember my Dad? Him of the ‘Ask Jeeves’ fame? (he said 'please' to an internet search engine). Well he’s on the loose again. Dad decided to do himself a jacket potato with grated cheese and cold meat for his tea. He remembered there was a jar of Branston’s in the fridge and thought that would go nicely with his tea. Spooned a nice big portion of Branston’s onto the side of his plate and thought it was a bit sticky. Licked the spoon and discovered that it wasn’t Branston’s after all. Twas STRAWBERRY JAM. Good job he'd only put it on the plate and not actually on the jacket potato! Mandy :)) |

I'd heard of people having a dollop of jam on cheese, but not sure about the jacket potato and cold ham lol! Bless him, he gave us both a much-needed laugh just now! |

classic. Better than going out for fish and chips and passing the salt round and the whole family pouring it on to discover me fish tasted sweet, everyone agreed . It was the sugar we has used. catherine xx |
