... to get ready for bed? Takes me forever. Cats' last pills to administer, lock doors, set two alarms (in case don't hear first one), make hot water bottle, make Ovaltine, drink Ovaltine, have a wash, clean teeth, do floss, do little pokey interdental brush between teeth, brush hair, check OH is breathing!, check headlines on Ceefax, check e-mails, check GR General Board, check mobile phone for text messages, do jobs list for next day, check work hours for next day (flexi time), turn lights out, refill cats' milk bowl, feed hedgehogs, look at weather forecast, get out clothes for next day, check diary for birthdays/appointments etc. .... Janet :-(

Two seconds. Fall on bed. Crash out. Clean teeth and put on jim-jams about 5 am. Get into bed. (Well, that was last night's schedule).

Brian - sounds like my husband on a weekend...except he crashes out on the settee and comes to bed at 5am complaining that I left him there and didn't wake him!!! Yeh, right.....I go to bed hoarse having given up shouting at him when I'm going to bed - several hours earlier!!

Thanks to Bob, Purple, Deb, Brian and Karen for their replies. Looks like Bob has similar 'winding down' procedure to me! Any early evening peeps have set routines before going to bed? Janet :-)
