Well 2 fancy dress occassions spring to mind - one tarts and vicars and we all met up at a hotel in Coleshill. People's faces when they saw a crowd of us walk in lol. I had a short skirt on blonde wig, black stockings and high heeled shoes . plus loads of makeup. The other was a Hawian party - grass skirt - hired for the occassion - black low t shirt and garland of flowers - being on the large size you cannot imagine what I looked like. If I remember right had to have 2 grass skirts - lol. Hubby bought a t shirt he would not be seen dead in!!! Both good parties tho. Mary in Spain |

Went to one recently as the Sugar Plum fairy!! all 13 stone of me! Had a knee length skirt -browncotton with cerise and green flowers and sequins (sale bargain from Bon M) and added a layer of cerise net over the skirt. Wore green fairy wings, and a cerise tiara, and a brown top with lots of glittery jewellery and a necklace made of wrapped sweets (sugarplums). Oh and a wand! Only problem was I threaded the sweets on silver elasticated thread and they were so heavy they hung down to my middle, as I gave them away it got lighter tho. O.h. hired the Fred Flintstone outfit from a costume shop and looked so odd with the wig on, I hadn't ever seen him with so much hair, he is quite bald now. |

The subject for todays ( late - sorry) board of shame is FANCY DRESS if a fancy dress costume could reflect the REAL you what would it be? or have you ever been to one and had something funny happen or did you make a big mistake with your choice of costume. As always - I won't tell a soul xx |
