Anyone interested to make curd for cheesecake. This makes 8 to 10 oz . Boil 2 pints full Cream Milk remove from heat stir in 1 heaped teaspoon of Epsom Salts . Curds will form strain leave to cool. There you are ! June.

Thanks every one for your replies and i love Kendal Mint Cake Nyneve. Jeanette i know what you mean by not been able to get curd. I think you can use epsom salts or s/thing to make your own curd? June.

Saw a recipe using Cottage Cheese Jeanette .......... it's the greasy sugary pastry that does it for me with curd tart ..........

Cheshire cheese yum. But originally from Derbys and thats where Bakewell tart got it's name, and yummy that is too :)) Heather x

When i was a kid my grandparents lived in Nottingham, it was a real treat to go and stay for a holiday, up the road from where they lived the was a shop that made delisious pork pie!! i have not tasted a pork pie like it since, they also made cream cheese which was fantastic!! oh the memories Love Helenxx

I love curd cheesecake wherever it comes from June! My Mum used to make her own when we were kids and they were the best. You don't seem to be able to by curd these days
