No sorry, I don't really like cherries. Shall we stick with the Caramel slice and cream then. My question is should I have another piece ? I like to make differernt things and try them first lol. My neighbours do little things that are nice for us during the year and we do things for them as well but I like to make a lovely plate of different things for them for chrissie pressies. Its personal and comes from the heart and not the pocket. Mel

Mars Bar Cake 6 Mars Bars --ordinary size 6ozs. Marg 6ozs. Rice Krispies or Corn Flakes Choc --melted for topping Method: 1. Melt mars bars and marg. 2. Add flakes or krispies. 3;.Pour into greased tin . 4.Add melted choc Won`t last !!! Ros

Deep fried Mars Bars nooooo, I like them but I would like to see another 40 years of my life. And without being on one of those bizarre medical shows lol

Hi Mel, I have an easy slice for you: called No Bowl,Five Cup Slice 1 cup (160gms) Sultanas 1 cup (190gms) dark Choc Bits 1 cup (150gms) unsalted roasted peanuts - or substitute chopped nuts of your choice ie: unsalted macadamias or pecans 1 cup (90 gms) desiccated coconut 1 cup (250mls) sweetened condensed milk 50 gms dark chocolate - melted Line 20 x 30 cm lamington pan with baking paper, extending paper 2 cm over edges of long sides of pan. Sprinkle pan with sultanas, Choc Bits, peanut and coconut. Drizzle with condensed milk. Bake, covered in a moderately hot oven for 20 mins. Reduce heat to moderate and uncover and bake for a further 15 mins. Cool in pan, drizzle melted chocolate over slice, leave in pan to set before cutting. Store in airtight container, not suitable to be frozen. Lyn
