The poor lass must be a bag of nerves, please give her a hug from me, I was 22 weeks pregnant with no 3 when I got it for the first time age 27 and I was VERY poorly, I was told there was a risk before 12 weeks of deformity and off miscarriage after that, Everthing crossed for her, Caz xxxx |

My friend's lad got this at the moment, my friend just found out she's about 6 wks pregnant week before he got the chickenpox. The doctor said there about a 2-5% chance of the baby being deformed? I thought it was german measles that caused a prob.? I was 6mths preg with my daughter when I got them for a second time. She ended up going to A&E last night cos the docs messed her about saying when we get your blood test results back there's an injection you can have to stop you getting the chicken pox. the hosp took her blood last night and wil have the results today for her then she can go back if she not got the pox to have the injection. catherine xx |
