Never did anything for me, lived with someone years ago, who used it and I didn't feel anything while he was away with the fairies!! Can you please help me out, I am possibly booking to go to Lanzarote soon to a place called Playa de los Pocillos, which I think I read means beach of the puddles because when the tide goes out it leaves small pools of water. How does one pronounce the Pocillos bit? Even the travel agent didn't know. Liz

Oops looks like I am the only guilty / honest one !! LOL Seriously I didn't even know what it smelled like until I was 35, now 53. New OH introduced me to it. Doesn't agree with me though - can not see the attraction. Know loads of people though that can not get through the day without a couple of spliffs and they don't even like ordinary cigs. Rather have a glass or two, even three, of sauvignon blanc !!. Libby x

Never ever, mum would kill me if I did! know what it smells like though thanks to some flat mates 2 yrs ago - yuck does not cover it!!! the smell makes me feel sick never mind trying it.

No, you're not the only one Libby, but it doesn't agree with me so don't do it any more. Brings out all the lurking anxiety and gives me huge panic attacks. Sheila

Tried it a few times Jacqui as I have a friend who uses it regularly, Not keen as worry about mental health effect, 16 year old is usin it and it makes him very paranoid, worries me a lot, Caz xxxxxxx

i couldnt mum would of gone potty im 42 now and have to admit have come across people who do it, it stinks on them, i know a guy who grows it, but thats through work, so i cant say much about that, ( he dont work with me, im sure you get what i mean) i couldnt bring myself to do it, i dont smoke anything in fact no im not goody two shoes, just scared of mam , though shes no longer here that respect stays , besides dad would be upset with me :-)

Me never - took my son to tell me about the smell - no he does not either. Smoke ciggies and should not do that really. Here is Spain they seem to think nothing of it . can grow stuff on roof no problems, I nelieve, max. of 5 plants per roof. Come on then Jacqui do you??? By the way I am 59 years old. Mary in Spain

have to tell you this, the CWA, or the country womens association in australia, have starting advocating for the use of marijuana as pain relief. usually a very straight and well respected group of women, so it adds a lot of credibility. is that why they call some peeps 'potty'? I think they would be adding it to their bikkies for afternoon tea, though not smoking it. yvette

Hands up.... I tried it a few years ago with friends but I was sick to death of uncontrollable fits of the giggles.I just wanted to get back to normal. I also got through a whole loaf of bread with butter! It gives you the munchys. I would have eaten a scabby horse!!!! NEVER again!

i ll be honest and say yes ive tried it several times lol there is two kinds - the loose stuff really does smell bad but if you can get the blocks then its not too bad - omg what does that make me sound like - glad this isnt one of muffys confessional threads lmao Havent touched it since having the kids - so at least 5 years - and yes the munchys are very bad !!!!!!!!

Years ago when my eldest son was 12 (now 25) he asked me why people were buying oxo cubes outside the park. LOL Another time he asked why OH's mate was unwrapping his cigs the rolling them up again. Told him it was because he was on the dole and had to make his money go further. Gave the mate a good telling off for doing this in front of the kids. Libby

what a coincidince...........I was out last night being trained for a new job...............My trainer was driving ( very erratically ) and eating bags of crisps as if there was no tomorrow ....the car stunk of dope and I legged it at a set of traffic lights......My trainer has spent all day today on the phone to me suggesting I was imagining things...I can only conclude that she is insane

Right.............ok.....was a heavy smoker for years......... had a ball,had a laugh got stoned,eat for england(Ribena,a Double decker...and a chip roll....... But have also seen the down sides...............not goodxxx(i gave up for lots of dif reasons....)
