wish they would give more notice. I was right on top of one today before I knew anything about it. Took advantage of the good weather and my day off work to get my scooter out and visit mum who lives 30 miles away. I always fill up at the end of our road at the cheap garage and a tank will take me there and back with the petrol light coming on just as I hit my home town again. Leaving it empty until the next time I use it incase it ever got pinched again they wouldnt get far on it. Well the diversion took me 5 miles out of my way so consequently coming home I was 10 miles at least away from my home town when the red light came on so had to fill up at probably the dearest garage in our area. Mind you they did come out and serve me. If I had known about the diversion I could have taken the main road instead of the coastal one that I usually take. |

Blimey: that's a tiny tank. We've got three scooters between us and they all take at least eight litres, good for 150 miles or so. |

In that case I suspect it is a four litre tank, three litres on normal which would do your 60 miles and a litre in reserve. |
