Any ideas on how I can look for an address on a census document? I know an ancestor died in 1873 therefore he should be on the 1871 census, I've tried all variations of his name and wondered if I could look up his address it would tell me if the family were still there. Paula |

1837online has a search facility for 1871 census but not sure that all counties are listed yet. The search can be done for free but you need units to view the result Maureen |

Have you put a request on the Records Office Board? If you give the names and address someone with access to Ancestry may well look it up for you. Good luck. |
