Catherine, It sounds like you're computer is having trouble opening your tree possibly because you may be missing a bit of software. It's hanging at the >> Load Flash Viewer point. The tree is in Java Script I think, and opens using Macromedia Flash. Just not sure if you need to download anything to cure it. Message genes and ask them. I'm sure they'll be able to answer you. I can't understand any of it, esp that tree viewer with the circle thing going round. Prefer the old one. You just get use to it then people change it. catherine xx

Just been given this tip: Click on shared trees, then when you have opened one of the other trees you have permit to view, go to the drop-down list at top right for list of trees, and at the top of the list is 'your tree'. It's a view of the old format.

just tried it steve thanks still says same thing. I click on change view-tab comes up with -immed fam -Full tree -ancestors -descendant. whichever one I choose then comes up with the other screen as on earlier post. But no tree ever shows just the green circle going round, it this correct, and how long to wait before your tree shows.? If I click on 'my fam tree' left page, it comes up with my immediate family to me. catherine xx

I'm a bit confused with this as I go to my tree, ask to view full tree a screen comes up with this: Request Tree data (tick) Analyse relations (tick) Analyse relationships(tick) Calculate positions(tick) Create flash movie data(tick) Load flash viewer (green circle going round and round) Send data to flash viewer it never shows it just this screen. catherine xx
