My mother in law's birthday was 29th July. First year we were married I sent her a card which arrived on 27th July - next time we saw her she went balistic - 2 days early and why couldn't Paul write on it. Needless to say I never ever wrote a card for her again - made her son do it. Many years later whilst sorting out her affairs after she had died found birth cert - born 27th July so all those years ago I had got it right..................... Mary in Spain |

My dad was never sure if he was born the 28th or 29th dec,his mum would say both dates and thoroughly confused him . He passed away on the 19th dec and we insisted his funeral wouldnt be till the 31st dec as we didnt want to run the risk of clashing with his birthday. He never had a birth cert but I,ve now got it and it was the 29th and registered in the jan next year so it wasnt because she registered him late that she caused the confusion |
