In a proven Family Tree back to 1650, two males (of which I am one) have identical 12 Marker DNA despite being 8th cousins. The mystery arises that these readings are identical to Merediths and Carreros of Wales. If either of those names happens to see this note, we would love to swap Trees etc. A. Anthony Forgive me if this sounds rude, but - are you therefore happy with the results of a twelve marker test? I'm no expert, but that doesn't sound very divisive to me - lots of males are likely to have the same 12 markers - but probably wouldnt have the same 124 markers. Do you see what I am getting at here? OC |
