is anyone else worried what the madman of N Korea is upto, from what I am hearing and seeing, he started it and is now telling u.s. to back off or they will see it as act of war, is this where its all going to start? jean

Don't know what's worse Jean, their attitude to the rest of us or their scandalous treatment of their own people. I certainly see N Korea as flash point and with George Bush still in the White House, heaven help us all. Sheila

If China 'gets tough' with North Korea, they may back down a bit. As China is a rapidly growing industrialised economy, it may see some benefit in 'siding' with the US on this one - it certainly won't want North Korea as a nuclear threat either.

I don't know why China is moaning, they probably sold them the technology to get them where they are today.! Just glad its so far from here.
