Teresa,They are high in fats, but providing your diet is good to start with a handful of walnuts is only going to do you good, the oils in any nuts(not salted peanuts) are excellent for health:-)) No I havent seen thatlol I must try it:-))

Walnuts are high in oils, so you still need to go careful on them due to the calories. Have you ever lit a walnut? It burns like a candle for ages.

WALNUTS 'FIGHT FAT' FINISHING a meal with a handful of walnuts can help protect against heart disease, researchers said. Olive oil, said to be good for the heart and arteries, did not provide the same protection in tests. Volunteers in Spain ate high-fat meals of cheese and yoghurt with either olive oil or walnuts. Saturated fats inflame the arteries, which leads to heart disease. Both oil and nuts cut inflammation but only walnuts - containing an omega-3 fatty acid - boosted elasticity which helps blood flow. Prof Robert Vogel said: 'Walnuts undo the effects of a saturated-fat diet.'
