Hi I always make sure I drink a pint of water before bed if I have had alcohol then I don't wake up thirsty in the night. I drink red wine to make me tired enough to sleep, though I definately don't like the feeling of being drunk, so I always try not to drink up to that level. xx

Heee! Heee! Malc, that made me LAUGH! I like a drink of wine with food, but I rarely go out just for a drink. Having said that, I find it relaxes me. I never mix drinks though - it makes my head spin then I end up being ill! Never got to the point of being drunk 'cos I'm always sick before I get to that stage! Margaret

Although one would think it would make you sleep well, it only seems to work for a few hours then I wake up. Normally I don't have trouble sleeping. I only drink on social occasions, but am wondering if maybe I shouldn't even bother to do that!!

It dulls my senses and I prefer them to be sharp. len
