My son speaks excellent and never stops talking (takes after me lol) he has a comfort blanket, it's blue with a rabbit on, it has to go everywhere. There's a seam on the blanket that he rubs with his two fingers, now here's the creepy bit. He tells us this bit of the blankes is called 'the kin' I say 'what's the kin' -it's from the bergow it's a hiding place. Freaks me out I can tell you. He''s now started saying where's my kin, rather than the blanket. This is the only bizarre strange thing he says. What you reckon it means.lol. catherine xx

Hi Julie Anne there is a place in portugal called bergau-which we have been too. But I don't think it's that cos his grandad took him for a walk and when they went past the canal boats etc, he said to grandad, it's the bergow? weird not googled anything else though. catherine xx

Julie Anne just googled The Kin 1) It's a us pop group 2) It's a fantasy book by peter dickenson about a group of children 2,000 years ago that go in search of looking for the lost kin. now that's even more weird. catherine xx

Catherine I agree its spooky but I'm very open minded, I believe little ones are completely open and say it as they see it, When my eldest boys were small we lived in a flat that had been a toy shop. The owners of that shop had left just before we moved in and 4 months later their daughter was killed on a crossing in the town. The boys were 2 and 3 and were in what was her room, they kept talking about a girl who sat in their rocking chair and talked to them,I'm convinced shed come back to her bedroom of most of her 12 years, Caz xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
