I never allow anyone to view my tree until I have assured myself there is a connection. One of the people from whom I received a 'blank' reply to a hot match, responded to my request to email me direct- by thanking me for being able to view my tree! I looked at 'my contacts' & the box is not ticked. So he definitely should not have been able to view my tree! It is pointless asking GR to do anything as they will not answer the details in emails but just send an automated resonse! Hence - I AM SEETHING! |

Bridget, I have found that if I say to them in an e mail, 'please do not send an automated response but reply to my question' it often brings a result. Ann Glos |

Hi Bridget That's very worrying.....that someone can see your tree without you giving them permission. But you really must at least try to contact GR. They must be made aware of what has happened in order to give them a chance to put it right. And what if it has happened to others without them realising it? I have always found the team to be very helpful, so please give them a try Jeanette x |

I'd be very worried if someone could view my tree and they hadn't had my permission. I'g get on to GR and ask for an explanation. Sounds like there system is not up to scratch lately with all the blank messages and now this.I hope you get a response. catherine xx |
