In other words thrush but didnt want to put that up! Has anyone ever found it seems to have taken over their body ? Dont know if its cos I'm run down but seems to have taken over me a buit, Caz xxxxxx

Ive found taking one of those pro-biotic drinks helps as well - or the yoghurts if you like that sort of thing. Thanks for that tip though steve might have to look out for that one.

Cut out anything with yeast in (also mushrooms I think) eat probiotic yoghurt. Like anything else if you are already run down it will take a hold. Use yoghurt or Canesten cream externally Ann glos

I've suffered in the past with thrush and its horrible. Antibiotics bring it on for me so unless it is absolutely necessary I never take them. Try canastan pessories and cream which can now be bought over the counter, its excellent and gives relief straight away. Sue

Yoghourt is the worse thing you could take. Its a fungus so any cure must be fungicidal. As you say, it can invade your whole system and pass to the opposite sex.. See a doc. and get a prescription drug. len

There is a capsule form of priobotic called Acidophillus to put healthy bacteria into the system, H&B have now got it in a chewable tablet form

candida or thrush is a fungal infection, the best thing to deal with the pain and itching is natural yoghurt externally, it will be gone within a few days.xx

I get it really bad if I take Penicillin antibiotics. Live yogurt is good for external use. M.

I tell my patients to do 3 things---external or internal yoghurt , eat bio yoghurt and use sea salt in the bath but don`t forget cotton underwear --not thongs! and going commando with a skirt at home!! Ros

Give me antibiotics, give me thrush meds as well and only thing that works for me is aural tabs......protects me approx 3 months, then off we go again....not nice at all. Tablets im given is Diflucan.
